Meechum Reg'd is a full service grocery store located in Mistissini.

This business is fully owned by Beverly Quinn and is operated by the Quinn Family. Beverly is a status James Bay Cree who was born in and raised in Mistissini, and has resided in the community her entire life. The Quinn family has taken the business from a small grocery store and grown it into a modern, expertly managed operation which is a source of pride for Mistissini Residents.

Meechum Reg'd currently employs over 40 Mistissini residents.

Most of these employees are hired in a full time capacity and many have been with the organization for several years. To run a modern efficient business such as Meechum takes many skilled employees. Meechum has many departmentalized areas including: butchery, fruit & vegetable, bakery, fritou fried chicken and general grocery.
